Max, have put in my comments marked with PH
The plan is great, but just one suggestion before we approach everyone why

I agree that we should have a proper site in place.
I am talking about the community website, which advocates ubuntulogy (if i
> may use that expression).

We need to have the focus on the site to be "Why Ubuntu makes sense to me"
with different versions of "me" (gov, edu, biz, etc) as well as details on
Ubuntulogy (I really like that term).
So in my view the plan of action should be as follows:

This is possible although they will only do this for approved locoteams
which takes quite a bit of hard work to get going. However, I have plenty of
space on my dreamhost account and could easily give you an account (it has
joomla already) if you are keen to set it up.
1.1 create a local domain forwarder ubuntu.co.tz -> domain name given by
> ubuntu.com or something like that - I will arrange this upon your approval

Bill has been very helpful in the past so if you can arrange ubuntu.co.tzand
ubuntu.or.tz through him (registration is free) to get us off the ground
that would be a good starting point. You should point DNS to:
ns1.dreamhost.com, ns2.dreamhost.com
I already asked for ubuntu-tz.org to point to wiki.ubuntu.com/TanzanianTeam,
but will get that changed to our site.
2: Jointly develop content and articles on ubuntology.

Focus should be as per my comments above.
3: -> proceed with the plan you outlined below. approach ISP's and BoL,

Let's do this when we're up and running.
4: Try to go do some sort of a launch once we have like 1000 members or so.
>
Although 1000 members is great I think it'll be a while...
I would gladly make a custom template and put the site together in Joomla,

Ok, as soon as the domains are registered, I'll create an admin id for you
on the joomla installation.
Sorry i am in a rush right now, thats why such short writing.
