what is your OS?
certainly not windows as you must be able to see tamil in it.
so it is a linux and you have not installed tamil unicode fonts
if you are using ubuntu go to system>admin> synaptic manager and click
the last tab search.
type tamil and install whatever it finds.

alternatively system>language support and choose tamil hit enter
that is the easiest way.

you must understand it is a little hard for ppl to help when one does
not have the details.
however i am willing to help anyone who acknowledges his level of knowledge.
it will make it so easy to help then.
