Line 6 POD X3 Live

Hello dear Friends,

i'm newb in Linux .. Ubuntu Studio (kernel = 2.6.24-21-rt)
I try to do some music with my
POD X3 Live  (soundcard)
connected through USB to my Dell Labtop

but ... without any success :(

I've tried to use, compile etc ...  this:

But I 've googled some tips about Alsa that is not included in the
Ubuntustudio Kernel
...
Is it possible for the UbuntuStudio Team to include the Line 6 driver in its
bundle ?
What can i do ?
