Using Tranzport with Ardour

Hello,

Does anyone know how to get the Tranzport control surface working in
Ardour? 

I followed the directions in the manual on the Ardour web site. According 
to these directions, there is supposed to be a Tranzport item under
control surfaces in the options menu (options>control surfaces>tranzport).

I do not see this option in the Ardour that is packaged in Ubuntu Studio,
nor did I see it in Ardour 2.0.2, available from getdeb.net.
