Puredata and sounds. I dont hear anything

Hi,

i have just open puredata (pd) on ubuntu studio and i have gone to Media>Test Audio and Midi and then i have have selected -40 (TEST SIGNAL) to hear some sound but i dont hear anything. 

Do your hear anything if you make the same steps?

What can i do to start to hear sounds with puredata? Maybe is not prepared US to hear sounds in pd?
