video editing software in ubuntu studio

Jahshaka is not included because it has not been packaged yet. It will
probably make it into Gutsy, but no guarantees. If you feel up to it you can
try and package it yourself and get it into feisty-backports.

As for Cinelerra, my understanding is this: Cinelerra is not released with
one all-encompassing license like other projects do by stamping the GPL (or
similar) on them. That means each file in the source has to be sorted
through and make sure that if any file is licensed, it is compatible with
the free software standards of Ubuntu.

Hopefully someone can correct me if I'm mistaken.
