Laptop Install Problems

Hello everyone and thanks for the Greeting Luis,

Well, my install to my laptop has issues.  It has an ATI graphics card, and
I get an Xserver failure, so I haven't made it into the operating system
just yet.  I've seen that this is not an unfamiliar problem, so I am now
searching for the work around or fix.  Strangely I don't have this same
failure with the Ubuntu Live CD, so I've thought about installing this and
then installing the Studio packages as a work around.  Regardless, my
brother-in-law will be out of the basement this weekend, so I should have
time to try installing to my studio computer.
