Yeah, I’ve used Carla. It makes a great plugin host for live audio production, and the patchbay is based on the same one in Catia. Probably the way to go, especially since Carla is a separate project from Cadence. My biggest problem with Carla as a plugin host was the inability to sync BPM across multiple plugins (i.e. delay effects).

Either way, this is great. I can see this along with a number of other improvements or enhancements making their way into the 18.10 release, which could potentially position Ubuntu once again as /the/ choice for audio production.
I love that this ball is rolling again and that we’re pushing forward for a solid release and planning for the future. This is great!
