Hi,
Sorry, I haven't say much in the last email.
Thank you all who have attended and involved.
Be it ubuntu users, new ubuntu users, and those who have signed up.
This is the ubuntu philosophy for those have not known.
http://www.ubuntu.com/community/ubuntustory/philosophy
Our work is driven by a philosophy on software freedom that aims to spread
and bring the benefits of software to all parts of the world. At the core of
the Ubuntu Philosophy are these core philosophical ideals:
1. Every computer user should have the freedom to download, run, copy,
distribute, study, share, change and improve their software for any purpose,
without paying licensing fees.
2. Every computer user should be able to use their software in the
language of their choice.
3. Every computer user should be given every opportunity to use software,
even if they work under a disability.
http://www.ubuntu.com/community/ubuntustory/philosophy
And hope Team Ubuntu Singapore be one of the most community-driven group.
Members or so are free to contribute, help each other.
And it'll be good to know more and more ubuntu users through countless
networking sharing sessions. We can help each other along the way.
One of my thoughts to TUSG I have in mind, is to link those companies who
have links with ubuntu with our community too. They can post
products/jobs/services to our group. And we can link to them too, without
them doing much, and this will benefit ubuntu users here and them too, and
of course our group.
Regards
John Thng aka BaLtO
