[Ubuntu-QC] Affichage sur deux moniteurs instable (10.10 sur Thinkpad T420)

Bonjour,

    J'ai un Thinkpad T420 et je roule Ubuntu 10.10. Lorsque je branche un
second moniteur afin d'avoir 2 écrans, mon système devient instable et
"gèle" fréquemment.

    Jockey me montre que j'ai le pilote nVidia propriétaire installé mais je
n'arrive pas à avoir un système stable. Si j'utilise seulement l'un ou
l'autre des moniteurs, tout va bien, à part du "lag" lorsque je déplace des
fenêtres sur mon bureau. L'affichage vidéo, sur Youtube par exemple, est
bon.

    J'ai désinstallé/ré-installé les pilotes nvidia (sudo apt-get remove
nvidia-common). L'utilisation de "System > Administration > NVIDIA X Server
Settings" m'a amené à perdre mon affichage lors du démarrage suivant.

    J'ai dû sélectionner "Fail-safe mode" dans Grub, sélectionner un mode
graphique "Failsafe" pour récupérer mon affichage graphique.

    Des conseils? Toute suggestion sera bienvenue.
