Thank you Charlie,

It works for me now, I can run 64 bit code and I can use USB. After
downloading the extensions pack, I started VirtualBox and selected

File - Preferences - Plugins  # or something similar (translated from Swedish)

and clicked to button to add the extension pack. I was prompted to add
myself to the vboxuser group in the host OS.
