I recently installed Ubuntu Gutsy Gibbon 7.10 on the new machine that I made
for my friend. What a great OS... I can't wait to see how my friend will be
impressed. I've already impressed my neighbour here and they are ready to
port to ubuntu in no time... heheheh
Anyway, as I'm trying to get rid of totem autoplay when I insert DVD on my
box because totem really can't play DVD and I use VLC to play it.
So, I go to System > Preferences > Removable Drives and Media
click on Multimedia tab
and then uncheck the Play video DVD when inserted
then close it
My problem is, when I insert dvd or vcd on this drive, it still will pop up
the annoying Totem player. I've tried to restart and the problem is still
there.
I'm stuck with this... Anyone have ideas on how I can fix it?
I'm searching for any config files if exists in my /etc folder but I'm
lost... hehehe.. too many files to find. I'm out of ideas... please help
me!!
I don't know why it is hard to find answers on google nowadays. searching
google returns lot of result but most of them just didn't work or maybe
obsolete.
