I don't have experience with NVIDIA Optimus, but according to https://wiki.debian.org/NVIDIA%20Optimus#Using_NVIDIA_PRIME_Render_Offload, and assuming it's up-to-date, it looks like passing those environment variables (__NV_PRIME_RENDER_OFFLOAD=1 and __GLX_VENDOR_LIBRARY_NAME=nvidia) is expected from the user. Has this changed?
Is there a way for for a strictly-confined snap to detect that it's running with the PRIME profile, and set those variables accordingly, maybe?
