[Bug 1015443] [NEW] Thunderbird hangs the desktop when escaping from password prompt

Note: this env was in a test-vm

Step one might be optional.

Steps to reproduce:
1.  import cert
2.  go to account that now SSL auth, but prompts for password
3.  Hit ESC

Usually after one or 2 tries of hitting ESC or clicking cancel, the
desktop will hang.  Only keyboard input is accessible.  I've reproduced
this in Thunderbird 13 in various permutations from lucid-precise.  This
is with and without unity.
