I just wanted to mention here a workaround found on a forum (sadly I do
not remember which one) :

Create the file /usr/ocal/bin/firefox (sudo vi /usr/local/bin/firefox) and write in it :
#!/bin/bash
PULSE_LATENCY_MSEC=20 /usr/bin/firefox "$@"

Give execution rights to everyone on this file (sudo chmod a+x
/usr/local/bin/firefox).
