Well it seems that if all the other sites are saving user-name
information then it may be a problem with the site you are visiting.
Try creating a new temporary firefox profile, which will be fresh of any
problems, and go to that site again.  See if the info saves this time.
To run the firefox profile manager use the following command in a
terminal......

firefox --no-remote -P

)Of course when you start firefox use the NEW profile for the test.)

When you are done with the "test" you can remove the test profile.
