I believe the issue is that /tmp files are lost on reboot, which is why
they are in the /tmp file. This is more an issue of Firefox choosing to
save in /tmp (without using the save as and redirecting to a different
folder) than it is feisty or ubuntu. Iirc, it does the same thing in
other Os'. I think the package should be firefox. Alfonso you are right
that it is a feature, but I believe it is a bad one.
This should be firefox wishlist, in changing the redirect.
This could effect Ubuntu in terms how Ubuntu handles firefox files, but
I haven't hard of anything changing anytime soon.
