He was at the meeting and volunteered to do the work.  That's good enough for 
me.  Since such calls, to be legitimate, must be preceeded by a MOTU meeting 
and also by ML discussion, I'm not at all worried we'll be fooled by a false 
last call.  I think the fact that he's not a MOTU is irrelevant.
