just to clarify: this is not "yet another list you need to sign up for".
We will try to keep all relevant discussion on ubuntu-motu@ - even if
you're applying for MOTU, we'll surely moderate your mail.

If you're interested in the MOTU Council, of course, feel free to join
up.
