How do you think about updating avidemux?

I don't use it myself, but this user seems to insist that updating is a
good idea, despite UVF. If users will use the newer version anyway, I
don't see much point in insisting on the old version

Yes, please update it, its GUI is much more user friendly which is one of the importanst parts of ubuntu.
It isn't so good/funny to install own packets after a new release.
