since my speed ot tamil typing is not much and am pressed for time....

mauran has raised some important points to ponder about.
i am giving my immediate reactions. they are not considered reactions.

there are two ways.
one is the translation group mailing list, where i got the replies re the
installer packs.

second is to mail the rosetta team directly.
they respond pretty well, fast and are considerate.
when i wrote to them that installer may not be thier priority but it is
priority to us who want the user to install in tamil, they have moved up the
file right on top of the list of files to be translated.
that IS something, right?

firefox is independant and so it may not be.
we will need to configure it.
perhaps we can put up the detailed instructions in a web page or a help file
int he distro.
we can also ask the other language trans groups to see how it behaves in
their lang pack.
