know the translation process so far.
I can conduct a session or even ask Hari ram of AU-KBC centre to schedule a
Translation session in forth coming Sundays.
>And how are we going to manage the translation works? How are we going to
make sure, our works are not duplicated?
One way of avoiding duplication of translation work is to use the feature of
KBabel dict.
Kabel uses dictionary facility.
Here you can actually store or load collection of all PO files.
When you try to translate a PO file and if a word has already been
translated KBabel will actually pull the word from dictionary and put it for
display.
This is the best effective way of translation I have come across so
far. Even it is going to be a duplication it will be minimal.
We need to start co-ordinating with upstream persons, identifying them etc.,
> Is there any mechanism, to allocate works to the members?
Nope its voluntary. The only mechanism we are following so far is to update
what translation we are doing in the wiki page "
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/tamil_trans_detail"
A person's knowledge of a particular application plays a crucial role here.
We need one Translator - Reviewer process of work flow here.
