complain about petty dictator op on freenode

I have to reply here and retract a previous statement....

"After that, he asked a simple favor, and got told that the favor he is
asking won't help him troubleshoot, and he should do it a different way.
As far as I see it, that is not anyone else's concern. Everyone has their
own way of troubleshooting. While some may think it is helpful, I can tell
you first hand that it comes off as rude."

While I normally stand by that, every case is different, and in this
specific scenario, I had simply forgotten that xrandr will vary greatly
from system to system, and especially xorg.conf.... which yes, in its
default state.... is not defined/populated with data, nor does it really
need to be anymore.

So with that said, I do need to add that I think there was A.) some things
that were maybe lost in translation, simply because B.) The person on the
other end didn't want to hear that their way was wrong, as they assumed
they knew what they were asking for in the first place. I think that
condescension played an important role here, and in turn prevented anything
useful from happening regarding the troubleshooting.

Finally, k1l, let me apologize directly to you, as recently I noticed I
have been misunderstanding your perspective on some things, and maybe not
paying 100% attention, causing me to accuse you of some things that I
shouldn't be. Sorry bud.
