Hi All,
Thanks hggdh for starting the thread.

This has been done via email since the time we started using the tracker -
and is still done as far as I know.
However, it is not the point of the discussion at the moment. What I would
like to achieve is that there is a clear set of outcomes for people who
make a complaint - if that complaint is valid there isn't a vague "we did
stuff" in answer.
The second point is to give operators a clear setting of what happens when
they do do something that is untoward - be it by accident or over stress,
or by design.
lastly, it is a really good thing for the IRCC to have an idea of the
things that can be actioned and a clear idea of when those actions should
be taken - in exactly the same way as we give recommendations and so on to
our ops on when to ban, kick, speak.
However, as we mention elsewhere, these should all be guidelines, not hard
things - they be acted on by the IRCC at the IRCC's discretion.
I would like that the IRCC can easily say to someone "take a break for a
month" without it being taken personal - and the codification of some of
the things that can happen helps with this also.
So overall, it should be clear to all parties what CAN happen (not
necessarily what MUST happen) when an operator makes a wrong judgement call
or makes other mistakes (maybe more than once).
Thoughts?
Thanks
Jussi
