Great! Any pointers to documentation on d-i commands?

Don't worry, that /boot md device will be formatted as
ext2/ext3/reiserfs/whatever grub 0.9x supports.

/me has a bone with the alternative installer in Hardy that cannot seem
to understand /boot on raid1 formatted as ext2. It does not get to
actually using the md device assigned but instead stuffs /boot on the /
lvm and of course, only offers me lilo as the boot loader.
I take it that is because some 'auto' code took over?
