[ubuntu-in] Compilation of Custom kernel in Edgy

Hello,

Has someone managed to compile a custom kernel in Edgy Eft?

I tried to compile the 2.6.17 kernel with the beyond patchset applied.
And i get the following error. I get the same error on the vanilla
kernel too.

Is someone facing the same problem? Does someone know a work around?
