A new programme that might be of interest!

[Wave Change]

Dear everyone in Ubuntu,

 

I just wanted to send you details of this new programme that is
currently recruiting until the 14th of December: 

Wave Change is a programme that was launched in 2012 by Social
Entrepreneurs Ireland. It supports 18-25 year olds who are passionate
about a social or environmental issue and who are acting on a local,
regional or national level to bring about change on that issue in
Ireland. The programme is a 10 month experience which supports a group
of 25 change makers and social entrepreneurs to develop both themselves
and their ideas or projects. Areas of focus include idea development,
project planning, fundraising, media and communications, personal
development and wellbeing. Participants also become part of a wider
community of under 30s who are acting for change in Ireland and can get
financial support for their ideas through the Wave Change Seed Fund. All
costs are covered for travel to and from the programme plus any
accommodation & food requirements.

Are you or anyone in your organisation or network interested in this
