It supports 18-25 year olds who are passionate about a social or environmental issue and who are acting on a local, regional or national level to bring about change on that issue in Ireland. The programme is a 10 month experience which supports a group of 25 change makers and social entrepreneurs to develop both themselves and their ideas or projects. Areas of focus include idea development, project planning, fundraising, media and communications, personal development and wellbeing. Participants also become part of a wider community of under 30s who are acting for change in Ireland and can get financial support for their ideas through the Wave Change Seed Fund.
