Current wiki access status

The wiki paradigm breaks down once its content reaches a certain size. This
threshold has been reached a long time ago. Symptoms: sub-standard quality
pages; unmaintained pages; the necessity for wiki admin patrols, and
finally the vandalism.

Is salvaging the wiki *really* worth the effort required I'm reading about
in all these email threads?

Should we not instead think of evolving? Our success appears to compel us
to do so.
