You must have been reading my mind as I made my way through these
emails. I think we do have a bit of a lack of communication, and that
having regular meetings, even if short, would help to smooth out our
processes and get us all operating on the same wavelength. A simple IRC
discussion can replace long email threads and get the team interacting
at a more personal level.
Of course, we don't need to deal with everything in one meeting either!
There is clearly a lot that needs to be discussed and I don't think we
should try to rush it.
I think the first thing that needs to be addressed _before_ we figure
out how to handle new members is to agree upon implement our team's
structure (see other email threads about this). Once this is in place,
it will be easier to proceed with other topics, like promoting new members.
