Note that this should be "eCryptfs".   I recently created
https://help.ubuntu.com/community/EncryptedPrivateDirectory to
document this new feature in Ubuntu Intrepid.  It uses eCryptfs as the
base encrypted filesystem technology.

Truecrypt has some serious licensing issues.
