Hi,

Just a report on the state of the desktop guide. Two main things:

1. Feedback - I've twiddled the structure quite a lot recently, and have
added some of the sections from the Gnome user guide. I'd really
appreciate some feedback about the structure. Note: the sections of the
Gnome guide incorporated are based on the Dapper release, it will need
to be updated if upstream has changed the filenames for Edgy (which it
probably has).

2. Writing - there are several passages that need work, if anyone has
time: the Internet/Connecting/ADSL+Modems sections need love (there is
material around on the wiki for this); the Printing section is tiny, and
so on.
