easy to use

Its just a thought the size should be Crown Quarto
Reason, most other tech books around the same size
Perfect Bound
Again looks like the typical book.

I have an idea for a basic cover design.
Top one third of the book cover a bright orange.
The title and attribution in black fonts.

The bottom two thirds screen shots of:

Four desktops:
Resolution: 1280x1024 would be good.

Top left a spread sheet opened to full screen.

Top right standard the default firefox.

Bottom left brown desktop with menu open on Internet.
This is over Firefox open. and covering the screen.

Bottom left the brown desktop on its own.

Bottom right a media player hooked up to some live OSS stream.
An OGG not any other format.
The media player is on the top left of the screen.
The bottom right is gimp of a picture of a laptop.

Do two or four pages of "landscape" identification for users.
From the menus to pointing at the trash can and battery icon.
The help button on the screen.

Could the automatic labelling that is used in some of the web site be
used to create it?

In the future should the docs evolve around having one set per release.
Bin them once the release is retired.
