Summary: GNOME GUI does not load properly on Ubuntu Breezy
           Product: Documentation
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: powerpc
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: Admin Guide
        AssignedTo: debzilla at ubuntu.com
        ReportedBy: will.dickerson at att.net
         QAContact: ubuntu-doc at lists.ubuntu.com
                CC: jelkner at divmod.com

The old default GUI of GNOME has stopped fully loading since Breezy was
released. I had been using the beta tests of Breezy and updating regularly,
GNOME was working fine. Now, if selected and logged in, GNOME displays the
loading bar and loading icons, but when the bar disappears, the background is
there, but no menus. I don't know if the desktop loads because my desktop is
devoid of icons. I am running Breezy Ubuntu on a G3 mac. Xfce GUI works fine.
