I think that would make an excellent home page for the wiki, well done!

One suggestion, the title for the software and hardware sections maybe
could simply be "Software - Howtos" and "Hardware - Howtos".

Oh, and how do we recover our wiki passwords? Going to launchpad doesn't
work (as it suggests).
