OK - we are talking about the same thing - but could we not call them
the leader - it makes me think of hitler and old science fiction films
- can we please call them coordinator.

I actually think the meeting should start by discussing rolls and how
they should be filled - it is possible that no one individual wants to
take on all the responsibility.

In fact do we have a clear mission statement/statement of intent for
the documentation team?  I would like to see usability and
accessibility in it.  We have goals and responsibilities but I think
stepping back and thinking what we are really think to do and how we
hope to acheve this would be good.

PS

I dont realy agree "Every good group has to have a leader"  I have
worked with many groups who work through consensus and mutual respect.
 What they have is good coordinators and facilitators - lanugage is
very important but dont really want to use bandwidth here discussing
politics.
