I think these are covered by bugs we already have? Maybe an explicit one
for the first part would be good to have.

A bug for this sounds good.

We can file a bug for this, though it's a project of its own, and not
strictly limited to package branches (a generic "run some tests against
a merge proposal" bot we could configure would be great).
