I definitely support this. It should go through the normal main inclusion
review, of course, but it should be fairly uncontroversial on the CDs (it's
tiny).
One thing I definitely expect will need to change is the fact that (last I
checked) it runs as root. It only needs privileges to read dmesg and
syslog.
