multipath broken in Intrepid

The arguments for /lib/udev/scsi_id in udev have changed, breaking
multipath in Intrepid. Upstream head for multipath has been updated,
but there hasn't been a newer release. Scott Remnant has expressed
that udev won't be patched to fix this. The multipath-tools package
lists this list as the maintainer. Are there any intentions to patch
multipath-tools for Intrepid or is it considered a low priority? I'm
looking for the state of this before I ppa it.
