Sorry up front if this comes through twice.  I just had a hiccup with
sending email.

I'm happy to blog this on O'Reilly.  Not sure if you'd consider that a
"major Linux news site" specifically, but we have a pretty good
readership.  I can work with my editor and see if there's a better
avenue for this type of announcement than just a blog post.  If someone
cares to send me an official announcment, I'd be glad to put it up
right away.
