Matthew East suggested ubuntu-devel may be a better list for my
questions at this time. Thank you for your help.

Subject: Edgy "Crash Reports"?
To: ubuntu-doc list <ubuntu-doc at lists.ubuntu.com>

There is a section in the Edgy Eft/Beta notes on [1], but no real
information is provided. Where do I find more information from a
user's perspective? So far my crashes have been triggering bug buddy
which have been going to GNOME bugzilla.

I have nothing in /var/crash/

Is there something I should be doing to contribute more fully to Ubuntu?

I also looked at:
https://lists.ubuntu.com/archives/ubuntu-devel-announce/2006-August/000174.html
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/AutomatedProblemReports
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/CrashReporting (Edgy+1)
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/AptElfDebugSymbols
but these are actually design documents.
