disks-admin had lots of problems, the code was buggy and the upstream
maintainer decided to drop it. I'm not sure about his plans to rewrite
it.

If somebody wants to step up and work on something, I'd suggest to get
in touch with the people at system-tools-list at gnome.org and write a spec
together.
