I appreciate the difficulties you face, but please file a bug on
http://launchpad.net/distros/ubuntu/+filebug - the ubuntu-devel mailing
list is crowded enough as it is. You seem to have a good idea on where
to file a report, so there is no reason to not do so.

Please help all to make this a list for organisation of development
again.
