Automatic configuration is not easy, especially for input methods where
there are many choices involved and users have different preferences.
The work however is underway, for example, a patch for im-switch support
in scim-hangul by me [1]. If you are interested in this area, pleas
join the ubuntu-cjk-testers team in launchpad, so you can get more
information (apparently those changes are not proper to announce on this
list). I'll post all my relative changes on SCIM packages to this team
for review before upload.
