installing on a macbook pro

Hi,

I tried to install yesterdays snapshot of dapper onto my macbook pro and 
it failed dismally.

As I can see, it's a GUI install?  All that happens is it attempts to 
start the GUI, there's some funny business and the screen is blank.

Is there a way to get the old text installer back?
