Hello list,
as some of you may be aware, me and my colleages did a installer for
ubuntu live - some sort of ubuntuexpress.
It's a shell script, it's ugly, it's a hack. There are several things
hardcoded on it which shouldn't be, but it's a simple shell script, with
no external dependencies but things which already are at the live cd.
With no intent of going step over the foot of our colleagues from Spain,
which are doing a much better job with what will become the official
ubuntu express, I'm opening our package to the public.
Some of you may ask why we did this. The answer is: We needed it quite
before than Guadalinex's was planned to become the ubuntu one. We are
using this script for about a year now in another distribution (A
kurumin derivation)
For those interested on it, it is at
http://laa2.unifacs.br/preview/ue-shellhack/ubuntuexpress-preview-1-2.deb
as this package is consisted of one shell script and a python one, it
should be quite easy to see what's on it.
Well, that's it.
Thanks for your attention.
