Sounds like Rhythmbox isn't going through esd or polypaudio.  if you do a
"ps auxww" do either of those processes show up?  (they should.) if you
run "gstreamer-properties", is the output set to "ESD - Enlightenment
Sound Daemon"? (should be!)
