What status is Input Method on Breezy?

One of the reasons I was initially attracted to Ubuntu is how it comes
with almost all the fonts from different languages or at least some
decent unicode fonts. I'm used kinput2, etc. back in the days. SCIM
definitely seems the way to go for linux distros. The slickests around
is Mac OS X. IIIMF I did play with briefly on Fedora but didn't like it
as well as SCIM.
I'm testing it out in other languages and it seems to work well. Here's
