The email address that I sent my original email to came from inside the
.deb package (attached) so I assumed a level of sanity checking had been
done.
Here's an extract from the control file:
Package: kitty
Version: 0.11.3-1
Architecture: i386
Maintainer: Ubuntu Developers <ubuntu-devel-discuss at lists.ubuntu.com>
Original-Maintainer: James McCoy <jamessan at debian.org>
