1) Thanks for the info, Chris. :)

2.a) Great, if that's what I've got, 10.04. I didn't think 10.04 had
that.

2) I suppose it's a minor complaint, but, though I've used Ubuntu for >
5 years, & linux for much longer, I have no mental memory for the
"Adjective" names for ubuntu. I know I'm using 10.04.

Further,
uname -a
Linux a 2.6.32-30-generic #59-Ubuntu SMP Tue Mar 1 21:30:46 UTC 2011
x86_64 GNU/Linux

doesn't tell me either the numerical name nor the adjective name.

Further:
clicking 5 likely links from the ubuntu.com web page doesn't give any
mapping from adjective to numerical name.

Point: if you cant get the _name_ mapping of the distro within 5 clicks,
then that dual naming convention is really causing more problems than it
is worth.

I know this is the dev list, not an end user list, so I take it in
stride that the casual talk here uses the adjective nameset.

I just wish, & think, it would be better to get rid of the adjective
naming convention altogether.

I know it's probably a fun thing, & creates developer cohesion through a
humorous elite dual naming convention, all of which does the world no
major harm.

It just is a pain for the _users_.

Perhaps it could be depricated starting with the 11.04 release?

<Alternatively, wouldn't the world be boring if everything was named by
numbers.>

<So, maybe the best thing is to have the website devs go through & put
both names on all the "1 click from ubuntu.com" pages.>

3) Is it in 10.4? Please let me know. &, great if it is. :)

I'm on 10.4. Where does that fit wrt "older"? - ie, is it in 10.4?

well, there's not much point in

I don't know. I'd guess I'm just referring to the crash reporter. I
just want to be able to let Mozilla know useful debug info when crashes
happen, so that bugs can get fixed, by providing the necessary crash
debug info to isolate the bug.
